Draft, pending lawyer review. We wrote this in plain English and will replace it with a reviewed version before we announce the site. Questions: support@thehivecode.ai.

The short version

We collect as little as we can, never sell it, and show no ads. You can download or delete your data whenever you like from Settings.

What we collect

Cookies and counting visits

We use only the cookies the site needs: one keeps you signed in, one remembers you have an account, and one holds your place while you sign in with GitHub or Google. Visit counts come from Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not track you across sites. Our bot check is Cloudflare Turnstile.

Who helps us run the site

These services handle data for us, only to run The Hive Code: Supabase (database and sign-in, in the United States), Vercel (hosting and visit counts), Cloudflare (DNS and bot checks), Resend (email), Upstash (rate limits), Sentry (error reports, with personal details removed), and GitHub or Google if you sign in with them. We do not sell or rent your data, and there are no ad trackers.

Emails

We email you to sign in, about your account's security, and anything else only if you turned it on in Settings. Quiet hours are on by default.

Your choices

Children

The Hive Code is not for anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change how we handle your data in a way that matters, we will tell you first.
